Every document this project relies on, with a route to the full text. Nothing on these pages is summarised without the whole being available.
Decisions
All decisions cited are in the Coalition’s register of court decisions, each with its court, date, docket number, citation, judge, disposition, holding, a caution recording what the decision does not establish, and a link to the record. The decisions discussed in What the courts have done are listed there under the issue Unconstitutional punishment.
Policy documents
The Department of Homeland Security guidance of 30 March 2025 and the ICE memorandum of 9 July 2025 have not been published in full by the government. Their text is available in the parts quoted by courts, and this project quotes only from those.
Country records
The evidence about what has happened to people on arrival is held on the country guides, each with its own sources section and its own dated record.
The words this project uses
The distinctions between a finding, a report and an allegation, and the reasons the Coalition uses the words it does, are set out on the terminology page.
Corrections
If anything on these pages is wrong, the Coalition wants to know which page, which sentence, and what the document actually says. Corrections are published.
